AWA-American Women Artists Juried Competition and show. Open to women at least 20 yrs of age, working in the fine arts and living in United States, Canada or Mexico. Hosted by Southwest Gallery, Dallas, Texas. Show runs Oct. 9-Nov.9, 2010. Susan Hallsten McGarry will be one of the Competition Jurors. The Marilyn Newmark & Leonard J. Meiselman Foundation is sponsoring the Leonard J. Meiselman Award ($350) for the best sculpture done in a realistic and academic manner.
