Projekt30 is accepting artwork for our July 2008 exhibition. We are an artist-run arts organization dedicated to promoting emerging artists, one of the few online galleries in continuous operation for over 5 years. The exhibition will include thirty artists; invitations will be distributed to over 30,000 galleries, collectors, and artists. All artwork submitted will be presented online prior to the exhibition so visitors of Projekt30 may help select which artists will be included in the exhibition. The show will be juried internationally by all participating artists with special awards being granted by the Altered Esthetics Curatorial Team. The top three Artists’ Choice finalists in each category will be invited to exhibit their winning artwork at Altered Esthetics’ Resident Artists Show in July 2008. UF Art in State Buildings Program- New Call to Artists! The University of Florida Art in State Buildings Program is pleased to announce its latest Call to Artists for UF 275 Pathogen Research Facility! UF 275 Pathogen Research Facility project is accepting submissions for pre-existing works of art for purchase as well as portfolios for an eventual site specific proposal. The budget for this project is $51,000 and there is no entry fee to apply. UF-275 Pathogen Research Facility is a new 90,000 GSF multi-disciplinary research building to be jointly used by the Health Science Center and IFAS. The building will consist of research labs with support and offices. The Emerging Pathogens Institute will be multidisciplinary, pulling in scientists from across the UF campus (and the state and world). The focus will be on understanding the emergence (on a global scale) of microorganisms that cause illness in humans, other animals, and plants.
