We’re Linux Video Contest

Published by TheArtList.com at 10:37 am under Art Competitions

DEADLINE APRIL 04, 2010 – $3000 in Awards

Calls for Submissions - Video/Film Art Gallery

Last year, the inaugural We’re Linux video contest kicked off a storm of creativity and captured the spirit of Linux and the diversity of its community. The winning video “What Does it Mean to Be Free” was an inspirational piece that communicated the ideals of the open source operating system. To watch videos submitted for last year’s contest, including the winning submission, please click here. This year we want to up the game and uncover more talent. What if the Linux community had its own ad running during the Super Bowl? How would you convey the power of Linux in a 30 – 60 video spot that would air during the big game? Just like last year we want you to be in charge.
