DEADLINE JUNE 06, 2012 - $1950 in Awards

Ceramic works of any thematic and stylistic presentation are accepted for entry. Clay must be the primary medium. Works may be functional, decorative or sculptural. The 21st National Juried Exhibition runs September 9 – October 12, 2012. Contacts are the: Show Director is John Thomas Rafter or the Executive Director Andrea Hamilton. Juror is Ethan Karp of the OK Harris Gallery, SoHo, NYC.The exhibition is open to artists age 18 and over, residing in the United States. All mediums and genres of art are eligible.Completed Prospectus and CD image packets are due to the AI&G by Friday, June 1st, 2012 3:00 PM. Accepted artists will be ntofied by July 15th. Awards: Best in Show $1,000 plus 2013 AI&G Solo Foyer Gallery Exhibit. Two Awards of Excellence at $500.00 each; 3 Honorable Mentions.Entry Fees: $35.00 for up to 3 entries. The 6th Majestic Galleries National Show will be juried by Ken Emerick of the Ohio Arts Council. A graduate of Otterbein College, his responsibilities include administering the OAC Individual Excellence Awards, and managing a number of artist residency programs funded by the OAC. He has been a juror for numerous awards and exhibitions for various Ohio arts organizations, colleges and universities.Entry fee is $35 for three entries, submitted as jpgs on CD, at least 1200 pixels on the smallest side. Video and film submission guidelines should be per the prospectus. Submission materials will not be returned.Prizes are $400, $200, and $100 for 1st, 2nd and 3rd, with at least two $50 honorable mentions.

DEADLINE MAY 14, 2012 - $8500 in Awards

Juried competition open to all artists 18 or older who are living in the U.S. Work must be recent and original and able to be wall-mounted. Awards include three $1,000 Awards of Excellence. Entry fee: $30 for two jpg images. Slides are no longer accepted. Juror: Painter Sarah McKenzie, who was recently listed as one of “The 100 Artists to Watch” in Modern Painters Magazine. McKenzie is represented in New York by Jen Bekman Gallery and in Denver by Rule Gallery.
