A Thematic exhibition “Abstracts” by Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery in a Juried Competition. A Group exhibition of the top five finalists will be held online at the Light Space & Time Art Gallery for the month of July 2011. Awards will be for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places. All winners will be selected, announced and featured on the Light Space & Time website on July 1, 2011 and remain online in the gallery for the month of July 2011.

All participants should submit their best photograph of a Soundgarden event. Soundgarden will choose 17 winners, one winner for each tour date, from all qualified submissions with special consideration for the top voted entries. Each winner will be given a guest photo pass for one date of Soundgarden’s 2011 North American tour to photograph the band during their live performance. The 17 winning photographers will have their photographs from Soundgarden’s live performance featured in a gallery on soundgardenworld.com and across the band’s social networks.

Sakuraba Gallery will be hosting an online competition to recognize the best artists inside and outside of Japan. The NY ART MARATHON is a juried international art competition, which offers its 10 finalists the opportunity to participate in a group show in the famed Alexandre Gertsman Contemporary Art Gallery (Noho, New York City), a $3000 cash prize for the winner, and a People’s Award for the most voted-for artist.NYAM is a new type of art contest, where everybody gets rewarded. Each member of the NY ART MARATHON participates in the online group show. The first hundred participants have their artworks reviewed by David Gibson, the juror and the curator of the NY ART MARATHON, who is well-known in New York for his work as an art critic and curator.
