The Beecher Center for Art and Technology @ The Butler Institute of American Art announces the 6th Annual Digital Art Juried Competition. Now in it’s 6th year, this competition invites digital and computer generated art entries from across the nation. The entries will be judged by an independent panel of experts based on content, creativity, design, narrative, artistic and aesthetic merits. Digital and Computer Generated Art. Artists may submit up to 5 images @ $10.00 per image (students pay $5.00 per image). Images are due by Wednesday, March 7, 2007. (Images will not be returned without a SASE.) All selected artists will be notified by phone or email by March 21, 2007. Artwork will be displayed in the Beecher Center from April 25, 2007 to August 25, 2007.
