CALL FOR ARTISTS: SNAPSHOTS

CHICAGO, IL – 2D – PHOTOGRAPHY & DIGITAL ART
This is an open call for entries for a non-juried exhibition featuring photographic and other digital art. All entries received by the deadline will be exhibited in our gallery. (However, we reserve the right to exclude work that is inappropriate for public exhibition, and in such a case, the artist’s fee would be returned.) During the exhibition the images and artist information will be available for gallery visitors to view in special portfolios that will remain in the gallery for public viewing. Buyers will be directed to the artists for purchases of the prints.Entrants must submit two (2) prints of a single original work, (one image for the wall, and a second for the portfolio) and the images should be printed from a computer printer. All styles of 2D artwork and photography where digital processes of any kind were integral to the creation of the images are acceptable. The works should be sent and will be exhibited unframed. The show will be widely promoted and will include a reception for the artists. This call is international and open to all. ALL WORK GUARANTEED EXHIBITION, (except for the exception noted above.)Show Dates: July 5-July 29th, 2006. Artists’ Reception: Friday, July 6`” 6-9 pm. Entry Fee: $25. Checks should be made out to ARC Gallery. Multiple entries are permitted. After the first 3 entries ($75.), each additional entry will be $10. Work must be 8 ½ ” x 11″ and must be unframed. Work should be mailed directly to the gallery at the above address, along with a brief statement about you and your work. All entries must be received at ARC Gallery by June 15th 2006. Please include a self-addressed envelope with postage on it for the return of the work.
