Announcing exhibition dates for the 2nd Annual Mile High National Exhibition sponsored by the Pastel Society of Colorado. Begin planning your paintings for this exciting event. The show opens June 8, 2006 and runs through August 2, 2006, at the International Plaza building in downtown Denver, Colorado. Internationally celebrated Pastelist, Colleen Howe is the selection juror and renowned Master Pastelist, Ramon Kelley will be the awards juror. In conjunction with the show, Colleen will also be conducting a workshop June 8, 9 and 10, 2006. ALPAN INTERNATIONAL 2006, Any artist over 18 years of age working in two and three dimensions in any media (including photography, digital art, installation). Maximum size of 6 ft. in height or width for 2D works, and 6 ft. in any dimension for 3D works. JUROR: Professor DONALD KUSPIT, Distinguished Art Critic, Author and Professor of Art History & Philosophy at Stony Brook University. AWARDS: Group Show, US $ 1,000 Cash award, to the best in the show. The gallery takes NO COMMISSION on sales. The gallery will also review the slides (in addition to the juror) to select 10 or more artists for the gallery group shows, which sometimes may lead to inclusion in the gallery stable.You can submit slides, prints or CD’s. Projekt30’s MARCH JURIED EXHIBITION

Projekt30 is an artist run arts organization dedicated to promoting emerging artists. We are taking submissions for our March Juried Exhibition. Thirty artists are selected, and invitations are sent to over 70,000 galleries, collectors, and artists. Our proven system has resulted in over 8000 inquiries sent to artists via our website. Our exhibitions use the “public jurying” process we pioneered December 2003. Unlike other juried exhibitions, all participants are guaranteed exposure: All artwork submitted will be presented prior to the exhibition so Projekt30’s visitors may help select the artists to be included in the March Exhibition. NEW AMERICAN TALENT: THE TWENTY-FIRST EXHIBITION

This is a national all-media exhibition on view June 17 through August 20, 2006 at the Jones Center. JUROR is Aimee Chang, Exhibition Coordinator and Assistant Curator, Hammer Museum in Los Angeles. The ADSO 14th Southeast Regional Juried Arts Exhibition

The ADSO 14th Southeast Regional Juried Arts Exhibition for artists 18+ years and living in southeastern United States. Open to all media, but works must have been created in the last three years. Judge/juror is Cynthia Holllis, Art Director of the Mary Brogan Museum of Arts and Science. Awards totaling $2500, with first place receiving a one-man show. Slide deadline is March 10. THE GATES PROJECT CALL FOR ARTISTS

Join us in this huge charity relief project benefiting issues of extreme suffering in the US and throughout the world. Donations will go to: The Children’s Health Fund, Direct Relief International and Madre. Get involved in the BIGGEST public art project ever! The GATES Project is a national project launching to the public in February 2006. But before then, we need 100 professional artists of all kinds – sculpture, mixed media, fabric art, jewelry, found objects, 2 or 3D – to get ready for this project. Project: GATES-LaVida Como Es is based on the theme of personal challenges Individuals donate an object based on this theme. Our artists will then incorporate 1 or many objects into 1 or more art works. Art work will be juried (with large cash awards) and then exhibited in galleries across the US. In the Fall of 2006, all the art will be auctioned with proceeds donated to our relief projects. We have already caught the attention of national media and expect some great publicity once the project lauches. All participating artists and art will be shown on our website and in the auction catalogue.
