2006 Art for Healing Gala Call for Entries, Any 2 or 3-D media including but not limited to painting, drawing, photography, sculpture jewelry, textiles, etc. is eligible. Maximum of two entries per artist. Artists working in any fine art or craft medium are encouraged to apply. Works must be original and completed within the past three years and not previously shown at AVA or Memorial Hospital. Artwork must be available for sale at this silent auction event. The juror will review images of original artwork only. No reproductions will be accepted. Selection from Digital Images: the juror will conduct a comprehensive selection from high-resolution digital images. Digital images may be submitted via email or on a cd. Slides may be submitted but will be subject to a $5 handling fee.Entry Process: Artists may submit one (1) image/slide of each 2-D work entered. Artists may submit two (2) images/ slides of each 3-D work entered (one detail is allowed). A maximum of two works may be submitted. Entry Fees: $20 for up to 2 entries for AVA members; $25 for up to 2 entries for non-members. Full color catalog available. Each year 75% of the work sells. Event date: Saturday, February 25, 2006.
