Golden Light Awards is an international competition for emerging photographers and professionals who have embarked on a personal project or have amassed a personal body of work. Entry is open to photographers everywhere. An entry must contain between 10 and 20 prints or slides. $45 per project or portfolio. You may enter more than one project, but each will be considered as a separate entry and a separate entry fee is required. Work will be returned only if a self-addressed stamped envelope or box with sufficient postage accompanies your entry. Project Categories–Entries may be made to and winners will be selected from the following categories: *Documentary & Photojournalism *Advertising & Commercial *Personal & Fine Art *Environment &Landscape *Travel *Digital *Portraiture Digital or traditional film-based photography will both be accepted. The purpose of the Golden Light Awards is to discover, encourage and support emerging photographers. This includes full-time and semi-professionals, as well as amateurs who have not received national or international recognition. Photographers from agencies, staff photographers from newspapers, freelancers who have contributed to a book or books, or had their work published in magazines are eligible.
