The Millay Colony for the Arts invites writers, visual artists, and composers to apply for month long residencies at Steepletop, the beautiful historic estate of poet Edna St. Vincent Millay. Groups of six to seven artists will be chosen through a jury process to stay at the Colony between April and November. The Colony provides each resident with a private room, studio, and meals. Application fee is $30, or $50 for International applicants. 2006 Palm Beach International Sculpture Biennale

Palm Beach Post and Cultural Trust of the Palm Beaches announce a call to artists for the 2006 Palm Beach International Sculpture Biennale. The exhibit will be held February 16 – April 16th, 2006 at the Cultural Campus in Palm Beach, Florida. Awards will go to 10 Winners: Best in Show (1st Place) $10,000 (US), (2nd Place) $5,000 (US), (3rd Place) $2,500 (US). Jurors: Michael Monroe, Wendell Castle, Michael Lash.
